Dear Angels' Place Angels;
I would like to send my heartfelt sincere thank you to all of you before I leave New Orleans. In about a week, my family will be moving to Houston. I am sad from the standpoint that I have to say good-bye to you all. My family and I will miss all of you dearly.
Angels' Place has made a huge impact to my family. You have all helped me when I was going through the most difficult time in my life. My family and I will not forget that. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Angels' Place. All of the wonderful moments with Angels' Place will always be the most wonderful memories in our hearts too. You all have done everything you could to make our hectic lives easier. Big things, small things, they all made huge differences in our lives. The Halloween Party, the Christmas Party, Mardi Gras Parade Ride, Easter Bunny Baskets, the Clifford Celebration, Jazz Fest, etc. All of these things have put so many laughs on my children's faces. So many wonderful memories in me and my husband's hearts. Lao-Lao Royann is a wonderful Angel. Her unconditional love to my children has made them deeply bonded with her. One or two days, if Emily doesn't get to see her, she will constantly ask for her. I don't even know what I am going to do with her when we move to Houston. I probably have to put her in a big box and mail her back to Royann's house every weekend to reduce her separation anxiety from Lao-Lao Royann. I really wish I could do so. You all mean so much to my family. Angels' Place is a huge tribute to the community. I am sure our family is not the only one that feels this way about Angels' Place. Your hard work has made many families with special needs children better and easier. Please continue to do good work and again our heart felt THANK YOUs to all of you!!!
Love,
Julie, Glenn, Emily and Amanda May 9, 2002
